In 2000, Lee R. Jensen formed Texas Steel Frames Inc. with its primary focus on Construction Management and Pre-Engineered Metal Building Systems for all Commercial, Industrial, Retail, and AG Building Projects.
The owner, Lee R. Jensen, is a licensed real estate broker and has been serving the central Texas hill country from Temple and Round Rock through the Austin and San Marcos to San Antonio corridor for over thirty years. In 1970, he started Jensen Builders Inc. and began building steel framed structures.
Texas Steel Frames Inc. can assist in site selection, turn key packages, and do site work & concrete, in addition to steel package, and erection.

Born in Houston Texas, and growing up on a small family farm behind our home. Attending Jr. High and High school playing football, I was also, interested in cars and rodeo. Started working in the auto parts industry and rodeo part time. Left the auto parts business and started working in the oil field transportation industry during the mid 70’s. I was an avid horseman for several years trail riding. I always enjoyed building things and had the opportunity to join the Local carpenters union in Houston. I attended two years of the apprentice program in Houston. I was working for as an acoustical ceiling mechanic and was promoted to a crew leader and moved to Bryan Texas to work on the Kyle Field Expansion on the Texas A&M Campus. While in Bryan I was a volunteer for the Brazos de Dios Rodeo. During the early 80’s had a business opportunity to move to Austin Texas and start a construction business. I had my own construction business for 12 years, then going to work for another company as an estimator and salesman in the construction industry. During that period I was introduced to someone with the Austin Travis County Fair and Rodeo. I joined the organization in 1987 as a volunteer on the Bar B Que Committee. It is now called the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo. I am currently serving on the Executive Committee for the Bar B Que cook off that raised over $680,000.00 in 2010 for the Youth of Texas.
I am President of the Central Texas Buyers Group here in Austin Texas. These organizations are involved in fund raiser for youth of Texas and provide ongoing funding for the youth in 4H and FFA. As of this last year the Buyers Group provided over $300,000.00 to the youth of Texas in the last decade.
I have been married to Dixie for the last 10 years and living in north Austin. I have a son Brad, married to Sabrina and a 2 year old granddaughter, Lexi. They have a home in Houston, Texas.
